Tango is a free all in one messaging, social networking and entertainment application that connects you with friends, family and spontaneous moments. Much like WhatsApp and Kik, Tango comes across as one of the ultimate messaging power houses out there today. But what makes it so great?

What Can It Do

Tango Interface

Tango uses your internet data connection and allows calls over Wi-Fi. This means that your minutes are never used up, and the features are always free. Once registered for Tango’s amazing multimedia services you gain access to a great social world, where you can find other Tango members and friends. Both new and old.  Share photos and custom animations and be alerted to cool events or hotspots in your area. The app also boasts a powerful music library. Powered by Spotify, this feature allows you to discover new songs, listen to them and share them with the world. It even has a game section for those lifelong friends and rivals who love to constantly compete in every game they come across. Post your scores on your friends’ wall for others to how well you dominated them. Tango is available for iOS device and can be downloaded from here: Download Tango Here

Getting Tango for PC

Officially, there is no desktop version of Tango available to date, but that doesn’t mean it is impossible to get the app onto your PC. Here is a simple guide that enables one to get the app by using a mobile emulator call Andy.

Step 1:  Download and install Andy. Make sure that the Virtualization is enabled in the BIOS settings and also make sure that your PC has the latest video drivers installed. To enable virtualization is the bios, click here.

Step 2: Open Andy and complete the Signup procedure and in the event that the user owns a Google account, the same can be used.

Step 3: Open the application and search for Tango and install it.

Step 4: Once installed, the Tango for PC application is ready to use, which supports both Windows as easily as Mac computers.

Another Alternative

Fring

While Tango comes with a lot of features, some of it might be a bit overwhelming for most. If you are look for something simpler, but still provides great messaging services, then I would suggest Fring. On the surface, Fring is similar to the other video chat apps we’ve passed over so far: It offers free, unlimited video chats, voice calls, and instant messages to other Fring users. But its real advantage is when you start making paid phone calls (as well recognized as “FringOUT” calls) to cell phones and landlines around the Earth. The band holds one of the cheapest rate systems available, beginning at only 1 cent per min.
