Share photos, sending flirty messages or sending funny videos has become such a part of our daily lives that I honestly can’t remember a time before that. Social media apps and platforms are clearly taking the world by storm, with each new one one-upping their predecessor. But right now, I want to talk about an app that is so revolutionary, it went from being unknown to a sensation overnight. That app is called SnapChat.
What Exactly is SnapChat?
SnapChat is a messaging, picture and video sharing application who main concept is “Tell Your Life’s Story.” But there is a twist. Whenever you take a picture using Snapchat, you have up to 10 seconds to send that picture to a receiver or a group. Likewise, the receivers only have 10 seconds to view that picture, before it’s gone forever. Why is SnapChat that way? Well, this is the kind of app that allows it’s users to live in the moment. Whether it’s experiencing a great concert, eating a meal so divine that it bring a tear to your eye or seeing a view to die for. SnapChat believe that these moments should be cherished and not just stored and forgotten. The same time limit extends to videos and text, but there are variations on how long a person can view them once opened. This app is one for everyone and anyone, who has something epic to share.
